I’ve already made it clear: I’m not going to spend huge time, effort, studying, coding, and building full systems for nothing. That’s normal.
But what you completely ignore is the actual work behind the server, new features, new systems, QoL changes, custom content, balancing even the UI i have my OWN UI created by myself. not a copy and paste Crystal database thrown online just to grab cash.

I don’t release default servers.
I build things, I study, I take courses, I put time and energy into making something different, so obviously it’s not “for free.” That’s common sense, not corruption.

And about AI, I’m not going to pretend I don’t use it.
But I also had strong coding knowledge long before AI even existed, and I’ve launched servers and built systems long before anyone could rely on GPT. AI is a tool Everyone uses it even professional developers whether for advice, brainstorming, or speeding up small tasks.
If someone claims they never touch AI, they’re simply lying.

So please don’t reduce months of work to “money grab.”

I don't get it , same people with same opinion keep saying the same thing when egyptain advertising his server , hes working hard on his server and in return he takes donations , hes making his living through this and it's legal , its a private server after all , no one is being forced to pay a single dollar / euro / £ whatever the currency is to play , you still can play for free and don't buy anything from the gameshop , as long as it’s legal, and as long as people here have enough brain cells to understand how things work, then you have absolutely no excuse to accuse him or attack his livelihood.

That’s exactly the point people keep ignoring:
I work hard on my server, I put time, effort, learning, coding, and constant updates into it. And in return, yes, I accept donations, just like every other private server owner. Nobody is forced to spend a single dollar, and the game is fully playable for free.

Wish more people had the same mindset.

Free to play means you are free to play the game, not free to ruin the economy or cheat the system.
There’s a huge difference between: playing the game for free and running a black-market economy that destroys the server for everyone else.
I'v only disabled the ingame/discord shouts sell and buy for $ but you can do w.e you want at your own risk, i wont get involved if both buyer/seller lost the deal

So yes, it’s free to play.

If you really cared about “removing gold sellers and levelers,” you’d start by stopping the behavior you’ve been known for yourself.

If anything, I’d be happier having a server with a few gold sellers and levelers as long as it has zero cheaters.

Let’s be honest, the problem isn’t the game shop or RMT. The problem is players who complain about these things while being the first to buy gold, pay levelers, and support RMT behind the scenes. As long as people keep paying, those markets will always exist.

So before challenging me to “put my money where my mouth is,” maybe start with the players who actually create the demand.

True, dealing with the MIR community can be chaos sometimes, especially with how fast people jump from server to server.

Simple, I’m not going to spend time, effort, and hard work on a server with zero return.
I don’t force anyone to play and I don’t force anyone to spend money.
People play if they’re enjoying themselves, and they spend if they feel the game is worth it

dude, RMT and selling gold are ok for me, but GM selling gold to players behind back door is not ok

A very good morning guys... on my quest to find a new chance to get the Beta feeling looking forward to the launch of this one.
Hope this one will be more on playing the game together instead of the constant bashing and insulting that happens on other servers.
Let's just relive the good old Beta times when we tried to beat the game together...

TLDR; The cycle of jumping from server to server was habit created by server owners, not players. Server owners lack the ambition to keep servers alive longer than the couple months and pump out content like it's nothing.

It's funny that folk are out here blaming players for this '2/3 month' cycle of players leaving. 3gena, you're not the only one guilty of it, there are a good few others here doing the same, but you cant blame players for that cycle.

This cycle exists because you guys that run servers are not running them the way server owners used to before this cycle started. The moment players start leaving, you guys close servers and start working on, or release another. THIS cycle was created by you lot. Why don't servers remain open like the good old days so that there isn't a constant cycle of new ones, and people can return to old servers when they are bored of the new ones? It could actually help UC by naturally distributing it in the longer run.

It's also not helped by the rush of updates. Updates are pumped out in servers every couple/few weeks. It doesnt cater for casual players who are likely to be around longest as they don't hit max level/gear as quick as others. Content needs to be phased much longer.

I get people want to be paid for their work, and if done fairly enough thats fine. But there is a very clear intent that as soon as the money stops rolling in, the servers close so you can start a new one to start that flow of cash again. Idk if you work in real life outside of Mir, but I'm going to guess you don't. Given the value of the British pound in Egypt, I'd guess with the money made from your private servers you live a very comfortable life, and hence the motivation for you, and others based in Egypt to pump out servers.

It's easy to blame players for this cycle, but the reality is it was created by server owners who lack ambition, or ability to keep their servers online. Too many are now releasing too quickly. I'm not speaking for just myself, but many others that we would rather stick around on one server than hop around.

I don't fully understand the grief 3gena gets.
Yes he brings out more servers than everyone else, yes they can be seen as a "Rinse and repeat" and yes they sometimes have a heavy "Gameshop" - But he's not exactly forcing people to play or pay. The blame is as much on the community as it is 3gena.
Every server that has come out recently has a Gameshop, P2W items or "Subscriptions" that you simply need if you want to keep up.

At least he's bringing a server up for people to play... If it's not for you then just simply don't play and wait for the next one that is.
