Is it possible for an archer (SYJJ) to 1 hit shot me (lvl46 mage) through my shield with full health?

How am I lying? I was attacking a Xmas tree, see an archer coming towards me, put shield up and pop, down I go.

you put up the shield after you saw him > chances are he fired his arrows before your shield was up

Can this be looked into at all as it's half the problem with archers when I fd it doesn't do the damage till the fd has shown most of the image.
When I ff it does most of the animation before it lands giving warriors time to dash etc which is fair
however with archer the damage registers miles before the arrow gets to you and often before the game has even registered them casting.

it would be like me pressing f7 to do a fd and the other person flinching before the fires come down on them

arches have a longer delay then your fd has :p
only difference being you are looking at the FD delay on your screen, which is faster then looking at it on the targets screen
there's no difference between archer attack delay and FD delay
if you FD someone > it's gonna look fast on their screen, because they have the 'internet' delay causing it to take a bit of time for your client to start displaying that you are casting

That's stupid, if a wizard shield is up before the arrow hit's it should have a damage reduction of the full 50% at level 3 shield. Archers can hit from miles away if you was playing on one of the lower res setting you wouldn't even see it coming, that need's changing if its calculating the damage from the moment it's casted and not on impact.
