i dont see a true place for taos here archers have poison and 1/2hit everyone in game, is there a reason to play tao not just for the love of the class?

Well, one of the reasons why i wanted to play archer is that i saw it as a semi-tao that actually does damage, with pet and poison skills.

That said, poison arrow is waaay off for now, so we're simply a ranged ok-damage class

On taos:
They still have buffs, easily applyable green + red poison and healing, so their group game is sorted. Even more when puri starts becoming relevant.
Some numbers might need a bit adjusting though, if tao is that bad to play solo. That said, this is mir, complaining about your class being UP is part of the experience

There is no such thing as balance. Its a myth.
Giving other classes tao skills is not good. Assassins scewed balance, archers make it worse

also, taos will always be essential healers and buffers. imo the way to make taos a vital part of the game is to embrace their support nature and beef that up (better buffs, better heals) instead of trying to turn them into a **** offensive class.

shrug.

Taos have the best end game skills in my opinion, once you get Poisoncloud, Curse, energyshield, YinYangBurst and sanctury, everyone will want to be a Taoist
