Hiya, when i try to run these 3 programs my computer comes up with an error saying ..

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have approriate permissions to access the file."

Im running windows xp service pack 2 and i am logged in as administrator .. but it dosent work on my desktop pc or laptop! thanks

The files are ether corrupt or your trying to run them from a short cut, to which you will get that message.

but they are files that come from the 3.55working.rar

do you have antivirus running? they maybe blocked so you can't run them.

It shouldn't matter as AV, shouldn't define to where a .exe path should or shouldn't be.

It can do, i've had AVG stop me running a certain couple of programs before.

Said exact same thing if i remember right too.

Thats why I'm saying that it shouldn't, cause the error is detailing that the path can't be found for the .exe and AV shouldn't beable to do this unless its pysicully removed the path for it. To which you would get a blank Icon for the .exe and asking you to what program you want to open it with.

This is why I don't trust any form of AV, as they are all designed from viruses and this is how they work.

the icons were blank .. so i just re formatted my comp and it solved the problem .. thks
