Not sure if its a bug or working as intended. Armour seems to reduce in dura on par with accessories instead of an accelerated rate. Im only repairing armour every 4+ hunts. At that rate they will last forever.
I remember running low on armour dura often on euro and would occassionaly take a spare on here its never low. I even did a whole exp hunt heading out at 6dura and it lasted like a dream.

yes i know that lol.
Im asking if it should be that way.
It wasnt on euro. a 5/5 ring would last longer than a 30/30 armour. on here you go through 5-6 repair on the ring before the armour needs any.
The armour should be taking the brunt of the dura loss hence the higher dura, otheriwse they may aswell also be 10/10

I always assumed it depended on the stats ie. your ring ( assuming it doesn't have AC or AMC on it ) shouldn't take dura damage if you are standing there getting hit and not hitting back or casting spells. But your armour would.

That's actually the way it works. Somebody said that Gale Ring dura should go down like mental when mining.. I haven't repaired mine in over 2 weeks and they're not even red yet and I get hit constantly while I mine.

It's always been the way it works (in virtually all MMOs), which is why Taos and Wizzies have longer lasting gear and pay way less for repair bills than Wars.

Attacking only takes dura from your weapon, you can hit the trainer all day and your items will not lose dura, regardless of item stats they all take dura damage feom being hit.
armour just seems particularly durable compared to other servers.
not sure if its a bug just wanted to highlight just incase.
