Well i dont think im'a play this server took me about 30 tries to get properly connected ( no over-exageration ) and when i finally got on got lagged out by the ammount of lag gettin thrown at me, no point in trying to play a server that isn't allowing me to play it, (This isn't a flame just lettin you know whats wrong from my point of view) But i officially give up lol.

It's stayin down for a few hours because the database got over written and wittin loadsa stuff (mobs / drops etc) so he's fixin them then puttin it back up later

it's backup now. DBs are back to square 1 though, will take me a good 3-4 hours to manually rebuild most of the lost data, but I'm on the case.

After many hours of fiddling, I've got the updated files up and running. Everyone should now be able to connect fine

Also I've almost completed the DBs up to old standards + more

Since these new server files should increase server stability regarding the Database Server crashes, expect to see the server uptime greatly increased from now on. The server should be ok for the night now, anymore problems, please post them here.

Just setup a daily DB maintenance program for both SQL Databases, therefore backups will me made automatically at 2:00am on server machine, during this time you might experience a little bit of lag for a minute or two, but it will go after the DBs have been backed up.

This will hopefully prevent the loss of data like today, in future.

Woke up to find that Outlaw (Liam) shutdown the server again, give him some grief over it next time you see him ingame, on a good note, the server is once again stable (no DB crashes), and its back up on a new IP. (check first post)

I can hook you up with the germans and get you a dedi for £15 a month, could then set up donations? I'd pay the first month for you, to get you rolling.

You can also piggyback on shens if you wanted, would promote an out of game community.

I also have the domain artificial.org.uk which is currently unused from our older projects.

Will definately take you up on that offer, and I should be able to pay you at least £10 towards the dedi this week. Also I had forgotten we had that domain for our CS clan, hope you don't mind me using it. Would it be possible to get a little forum section going on shens for me? cos it should boost usercounts for both your forum and my server!
