[AS DESIGN] Thrusting skill is not leveling

It is 636/800 Level 0 and I am level 29 and I tried thrusting those spiders in Treepath from step away and the skill gauge on thrusting is not moving. It is like it got stuck halfway or maybe it only works in BC or it doesn't like when you thrust holding shift or something?

I checked that it is switched on and I get message to that effect on screen left upper corner.

It's either that it has to hit 2 things, or has to thrust and just hit the one directly in front of you to level up.

Best done on a trainer with a person / pet behind it.

Or at least... that's what it usually is, I have no experience of this server.

Thrust will not level up if u are a step away from the mob. U have to have 2 mobs infront if u

OK won't bother with those venom spiders, best to level it in BC where I lure bunch of mobs and kill from a single slot.

just go into one of the training rooms in bw, there is almost always someone stood next to a trainer and you can use that to lvl the spell.
