Prior to the patch an assassin with haste hit 175-180 swings per minute, and a warrior speed 8 hit 190-195 per minute.

By changing how a.speed scales and also by speeding up the assassin animation they do 210 swings per minute which is too high. Testing with LCD showed that 195 per minute was appropriate to meet warrior's a.speed.

I also think that yeah sure cap warriors at speed 6 but don't nerf how their a.speed scales, it means they still have to work as hard just for less output.. Keep 6 the cap and it allows warriors who are currently speed 8 to drop a ring or necklace and slow/accuracy gem it.

I thought before the patch though that speed 7 and speed 8 were exactly the same (190-195 per minute) on a warrior so 210 could be what speed 8 was supposed to be. Before the patch a speed 7 warrior hit faster than a speed 8 sin.

I hadn't considered that.. Either way changing aspeed and changing double slash has had a double effect on the sins aspeed, it has been boosted by 25%.

But this would land it on the official spot they had intended it to be at originally right? and it should leave the sin at a true +8 and the warr +6 which would be what was intended?

Okay so yeah, the doubleslash image lifted the aspeed limitation, pushing them from speed 6 (180, to speed 7, 195, all the way to speed 8, 210.)

Warriors with the old speed8 didnt flinch lock like the new sin speed8 does from what i can tell. Also, the new warr a speed means warrs still have to gem +8 speed to get +6. You cannot tell me this is fair?

Probably because TDB flinches once but doubleslash flinches twice, at a guess.

I'm not sure why they've made it so that you need to have +8 to get +6. That seems wrong. Seems the scaling of a.speed got nerfed badly for warriors.

I can agree capping them to A.speed6 but at least make it so that you need A.speed+6 in stats, not 8.

100% agree with the stat part. Allows the warrior to utilise the new necklace change with accuracy or gem a ring with slow.

I would still say though that with the current flinch system, there's gonna be further problems now, and this will affect ALL other classes, not just warriors.

I don't quite get the point why you were even involved in helping with testing and giving feedback when the team has pretty much just ignored it completely and done their own thing it seems like they just wasted your time which sucks.

Definitely needs scaling down, i've just gone from doing 9% per hr in numa to 12% thats a fairly hefty increase :)

Sins have real speed 8, wars have 6, if you want speed 8 make a Sin, you'll soon relog your war and gem up, 25% speed for 60% health is NB....
