Since this thread is only talking about how weak sins are, I thought I would chip in. Sins are the only class that can solo OmaKing, DD(with enough sun pots) and Orc Collosus. They are also able to do a lot of mid tier bosses without uber kit. Once they get good kit they are the strongest solo class, I don't have a problem with this but they there needs to be some balancing act to help the other classes.

I do think shop kit sins should have their damage upped in some form though, the way to do this is up the base damage on double slash but reduce the scaling from DC so sins with no kit will do slightly more damage but the sins with DC kit keep the same damage.

made me laugh... basically dont change sins cause there soo strong with luck 7... any fking class would be same old xele.

Balancing a class shouldn't evolve round luck 7... thats just ridiculous.

It should, got to take in consideration how they scale, if you buff shop kit sins to do decent damage, the ones with l7 would just 1hit everything!

and to read that is horrifying news. no class should be able to solo DD or OK imo.
yes they all have luck +7 blades.. we already know luck+7 should not be obtainable. luck+5 should be the max and all weapons should have the same luck potential.
DD and OK clearly need to hit faster, sun pots should not be a solo tool but a group tool when sharing out the hits from hard hitters. (again imo)

Xele's idea of upping double slash base damage makes sense, and reducing the dc scaling potential. (could lead to much later balance issues again but thats the ever goign battle)

I also think that the +8 speed a sin gets should not be towards the aspeed cap. at no point in the game should anyother class have the same aspeed but with more dc. thats where its heading. = broken

can light body be made passive? its just a waste of time casting it, enough MP drops +mpeater's minimal help the casting cost is nul and void.

also as previously mentioned. Sin should have better ACC, a sin should never miss a standard mob imo. if giving ACC made them OP vs boss give them a different skill like archers arrow "accuracy" but only vs mobs.

Counterattack would be a nice passive too. everytime your agil allows you to dodge you drop a high damage attack in. this wont affect end game by much as the mobs acc is pretty high. but a dodge = a flat 100 damage hot would be alright.

Warrior with luck 7 and good kit could do some of the same. Defo not OK, but with LR can solo ZT or other bosses easier than a sin. It isn't the ONLY class that can do it solo. If they change some of the AI's then Wiz could solo many of them, Archer with luck7 and good kit could prolly solo Collosus.

Have you seen a sin Solo Collosus? I would guess not. Making inflammatory posts doesn't help the process too much.

It so happens that currently there are only sins that have luck 7 weps, therefore this can't be how the class gets balanced until there are other classes with luck 7 and you can properly compare.

Hercules had luck6 dsword + luck1 neck, and his dmg was no where near l7 sin's

lk 6 and lk 7 are quite different, missing rage still as far as damage for warriors, patch comes out will have speed gems and the speed gap closes. And the sins mentioned have better gear than the warrior mentioned.

I remember him having luck 4 or 5 on skype and him saying hes hitting 200's all the time or nearly all the time.

he hit 65 consistently 200s is bs

Also in regards to acc, don't we have higher acc here than the official assassin? I remember having to wear a sharp brace all the time on Gamepots US mur.

Atm war can hit TDB 50+70 (saw mostly tht dmg) while sins hiting 50 +0 (miss) 64+64 (my max dmg verry rare with +3 luck) and rest i can hit is 30+50(mostly hiting like tht)

Im comparing war with same lvl and items.

+war can hit 150-200 with flamesword with taking me down 1/3 or 1/2 my hp if they lucky.

Sin in pvp have to put yelow poison with is hard and than try hit war b4 it gone with is almost imposible cos mostly wars runs away till they lose poison and anyway i can hit war for max 40-50 2x cos they got more acc than mobs. Without yelow i hiting them for 20-30 or less...

Where is balance? No where.

War can hit same dmg without yelow psn as sin with tht or more. When gems att speed came to game sins will be worst class in game.

I compare this class only cos they both are mele. Tao wiz and archer is disaster for sin till he get shadow step and hide from player (no idea how skill called)

Atm i trying 1 v 1 only sins cos rest for me is unkilable and waste of pots and time.
