Assassins vs Fate Quest - (advice)

Hi All,
I started the infamous fate quest for the first time last night and i must say it's a lot tougher than i expected.
I will get straight to the point i attempted four times last night & never died, but i could not complete the room before the time limit. With my standard dc gear which inc coral rings, death gauntlets, double blades etc.. i had no success at even getting close.

This morning ..... I tried again this time in preparation i bought 3 impact drugs so i could use one for every three minutes while inside the cave. My dc currently is 14-47 but again i still get kicked out of the room with around 9-10 mobs left.

Am i missing something? I've been following a simple strategy of right to left as the chest is in the far left corner but i simply can't kill anything quick enough. (Also the archers i think maybe slowing me down a little)

I'm level 35 so i don't know whether anyone thinks i may need to stack a few more levels on my character first?

i believe sins need to use there lvl26 wep to be able to complete this.......sorta funny as most sins are doing this as they cant get there 26 wep......

sounds to me like your just a normal player struggling along bud, mayb get a few more lvls in and try again. the only lvl 35's i believe who have done this have super fast connections or high end tweaked pcs

It's do-able at lvl 35. With your DC I don't understand why you are having a problem.

The quest isn't suppose to be easy tho :P

the biggest problem in there is archers and mob placement. the more spread out the mobs are the better, never try to take on more than 2 @ a time and always try to take out archers first if you have 1 on you as they go down quicker (without luring more). it took me 2 attempts once ide gotten drugs, a better weapon and medium armour (both borrowed), the second time I had about 1-2mins left, I lucked out on mob placement. just remember u also need about 10 seconds to get to the chest assuming your (in the worst scenario) having to run from the door area.

It took me quite a few attempts, eventually I did it with 42 DC and no impacts, with about 1 second to spare at the end.

It sounds like you've got the general idea right, comb the room from right to left, end up killing the last mob at or near the tomb so you can click it ASAP. The rest I guess is somewhat down to luck. Hope you get lots of flashdash stuns and high amounts of damage on things, and try to avoid having too many archers shooting you - they slow you down a hell of a lot.

As I've said in the other thread through, I do think the encounter is overtuned - you should have a couple more minutes or a few less mobs to kill.

It's fine as it is tbh should be having a bit of problems doing it. It is a nice reward to get, and is defo worth it.

Just a quick update for you all. I finally managed to complete the quest this morning. I realised the turn in the path for me was lvling flashdash to lvl 3. My own fault but i under estimated how crucial this skill is to your overall performance. After that i had completed the quest straight away. If any of you are struggling i suggest lvling that skill first and follow the route right to left as the chest is in the left corner. Best of luck!

Also on a seperate note, any ideas where i can find a bonelord? As the funny thing is i can't complete the final part of the fatequest until this mob has been killed.

We'll done, bone lord spawns in PSC is advise a small grp

I'm in work at the moment but you could well be right on that it! Is bone elite a random spawn on f3 of Oma caves?

Bone elite spawns on 2nd and 3rd of oma cave mate haha. Really what I should have done is just sent you looking in PSC 6th... but I aint a bad guy... lol

Yeah I had to go find and kill a BoneElite before I could hand in that part of the Fate Quest too. Bit annoying :P
