it has these memory specs...

whats the best memory i can get?

im looking for something like 2x 1gb sticks, fast as possible. for 200 pound mark.

preferred from ebuyer or any other trusted site.

the mb im gonna use is currently just a mb and proccessor. i want to get the ram before putting it together, so i can install vista straight on to it.

surely 4gb worth of pc2700 ram would be better than 2gb of pc3200 ram

or would that be out of your price range?

there is a 4gb kit matching your specs on ebuyer for around £500 but i'm guessing thats outa your price range :P

I remember on ebay some one selling 1 gb sticks for 25£

how much more of an improvement would 4gb 2700 be over 2gb 3200?

i can get 2gb 2700 now if its alot better, then get more later on. i just want to be able to run new games and vista.

ebay is the best thing thats happened since the internet, if you get scammed on there, thats your own problems..

obviously 4gb 2700 willb be better then 2gb 3200...

but sometimes too much ram can slow down games....

so maybe get the 3200, also check what speed there running at, ownage ones out run at over 1000mhz lol *dreams*

I'd get 2GB of 3200 any latency. 4GB would be major overkill unless you have a program(s) that you KNOW are going to use 4GB, and that's A LOT of multi-tasking.
