Hi, i have recently purchased a new laptop which came with the graphics card in the title. I could not log onto mir as it gave me a white screen, but i could still hear the music playing but couldnt press or see anything. I decided to unistall the ATI drivers etc, giving me ****e performance and graphics, but mir worked after doing this, so i installed the ATI drivers etc again and the white screen has re-appeared, if anyone has any idea of how to solve this then please reply, it would be much appreciated! Oh and im on vista, dno if that will make a difference, and it is euro mir i am trying to connect to but cant post on their forum yet!

thanks in advance.

With nvidia you need to use an older set of graphics drivers to play mir3 - maybe ATI has a similar problem? *guessing but worth a try* :)

Just update you ATI drivers and then you need to mess around with the ATI configuration to get what you need working correctly.

As for Nvidia needing older drivers to run Mir - this is no longer the case and the updated drives for nvidia now work.

And also its not a vista issue as its been provern several times that Mir works fine on vista.

Aye mate iv tried configuring but i havnt the slightest idea what to configure, never used a ATI graph card before, dont supose you could help?

Somebody suggested on euro it could have been my graphics card didn't support 2D games? such as mir.

Same problem here with a 2400 HD Pro, still trying to find a solution. Catalyst doesn't seems to resolve anything.

Like most people have said download the latest driver, but is it only mir this happens too? Do a few tests on some **** games...If it's only mir that it happens too then I guess we can go further into that problem.

Drivers updated... is there even any driver for the 2400 HD... there is but the new one seems a bit laggy to work with our 2400.

It worked fine when there was the new driver, but I think the video card drivers weren't installed for the correct hardware (it says Radeon 2400 Series on the website... ya sure....), was laggy when I installed these (same as when windows run my graph).

Backed up my drivers...

> Nothing seems to ever happen in the mir client (always white, a windows form for the private server client)

Edit : I've windows XP, not vista
