Lcd can you clarify if option 2 means the attack speed of sins will be what it was on sunday? Ie its not actually possible to have sins and warrs hitting the same speed at speed7 due to the way the DS animation works? If so, what sort of % dps increase would that give?

Sunday was speed 8, 210 per minute. He means to implement assassin speed 7 which would be 195 per minute (the same as warriors), an 8.5% increase in dps roughly.

Cap warriors to speed 5. Shouldnt be hitting at the same speed as a sin regardless of level / kit.

Correct me if im wrong but doesnt one swing from a warrior = two swings/one double slash from a sin?

Has to do with how long the animation takes, 1 swing 1 hit/flinch but 2 separate damage numbers for warrior. 2 swings 2 hit/flinch and 2 separate numbers for sin. Basically what were talking about is that in PvP specifically the sin is rooted in place for the duration of the 2 swing animation where as the warrior is only rooted for the duration of 1 swing (half as long as the sin). To some degree this also means that monsters that move a lot are harder for a sin to catch because when you miss you are rooted longer than a warrior is.

Hopefully that answers your question?

The answer to your other question is that there is no multiplier on TDB, however higher native DC on items, + rage would be the warrior "equivalent" to a multiplier. This is not including the benefits of armor pierce and yellow poison on tdb.

I'm voting leave it alone.. you're giving far too much time and effort to an issue that isn't THAT big, if you keep messing about with this we're just gonna end up with reboot after reboot and **** up after **** up, just like we saw in your last attempt to "fix" this.

One of the only things I hate about this server is the serious lack of professionalism displayed by our GM's..you shouldn't even be asking the opinions of the bias players, obviously everyone is going to try get their own class boosted.

Either do the testing yourself and decide which is the best option(which we all know you won't), or leave it alone, all you're going to succeed in doing is making things worse, and wasting a lot of our time and yours trying to fix it.

Being a forum warrior should be a crime, how about you actually read the posts Raz, before you jump all over them?
You're one of the idiots campaigning for your own class and attempting to pass it off as genuine concern for balance, get a grip.

Trying to fix a bug that assassins attack at speed 6 instead of the 8 they are supposed to.
Yup sounds idiotic to me.

*even more claps*

The majority of changes made on this server are made due to the moans and crys of players, it's already led to some pretty major **** ups, 50 weaps for example, people cried, loads dropped, people cried again, none dropped since.

It's about time the GM's stop making decisions based on bias opinion, put some time into developing a brain and decide for yourselves what is best for YOUR server.

Feedback.

Wrong

It's about time the GM's stop making decisions based on bias opinion, put some time into developing a brain and decide for yourselves what is best for YOUR server.

They did and do, understandably they cant be everywhere and understand everything all of the time.
feedback is key.
Maybe you should stop crying so much and offer some feedback that does not boil down to
"leave everything alone" said the warrior in fear of losing some OPness.

I'm afraid you now have the clap.

Having the players decide the fates of each other's class is the idiotic thing Raz, which is all I've been saying.

I'll say it again very clearly, It is my opinion that IF the GM's are either too lazy, or too stupid to fully test these "fixes" themselves, then it would be better to just leave it alone, because they're never going to please everyone, and they are never going to achieve a perfect balance, all they're going to do, is waste everybodies time, time they could be spending working on things that actually will make massive improvements to the server (sabuk for example)

didn't sebuk come from players "moans" and feedback though?

Sabuk has no impact on individual classes, I haven't once said feedback isn't vital, all I've said is decisions should be made by gms after a lot of testing, not made by players whose only interest is their own class.
Are you seriously so retarded you can't understand that?

Harry with all due respect i'll believe it's only an 8% increase in dps when ive seen the testing figures.

Which i actually think would help this debate loads - lcd is there any way you could do some tests with sins with current speed and then at speed7 in various kits to show dps increase? I suspect you'd get help with this if you needed if you asked. This way people can see jusy what effect the second option is likely to have rather than an unknown like we had on sunday.

Citrix suggestion is to keep warriors as the main dps, keep sins at a low speed so he has the advantage.

Suggestions from all people help bring things into line.

Especially when Gm's done even play Mir and are oblivious to a lot of things.

Gm's know sins where designed for speed/agil, wars hit hard/slow/tank.
It's very basic Mir knowledge and will be sorted, surely..
