If you set auto pot to above your normal hp (say with puri water and hp kit) then after at your normal hp you can't change it. At least this is what happened to me.

I change the number to my normal auto pot level and then hit save and the save button stays greyed out. Then after I close and look again its reset back again.

Could have nothing to do with my setting though and it could just be a bug, I can't change the auto pot setting on my alt either.

Obviously an annoying problem just drink hp every time I get hit.

EDIT: Currently I am unable to change any of the settings in the 3 setting tabs

Edit: Tried deleting the mir exe, mir ini and config files, nothing

Seems very strange, everything else with the game is working fine just not the settings tabs.

Are you suggesting a delete and re install?

Yeah I tried:
-Changing settings on my main and on an alt (neither works)
-Loging
-restarting cpu
-deleting mir.exe and .ini and config files

Will try a different account next

Other accounts don't work either

Its really strange

Something has happened on your system to has caused an issue
It might be a permissions issue like Turrican has said (maybe run the mir.exe as admin)

Sadly after I untick read only it just goes back to read only every time
Sounds like a user permissions issue, is this stored on an external hdd by any chance?

right click > properties > security , go to edit, check you have the permissions to edit to file ticked (ie tick everything in allow)

then see if it will apply changes.

It is in my main drive, (my main drive has recently changed and is now a SSD that I put into the cpu and my old drives are empty)

I have now deleted and am re installing mir.

Are these folders set with read only unticked for others?

I did try this as well, error box's popped up saying "permission is denied" when I tried to change the permissions,

Turrican you were right it seemed to be related to permissions.

Using windows 7, I had to manually change my permisions in "cmd" use "attrib -r +s c:\xxx" where xxx is your mir folder

Fixed, thanks for all your help
