Really sorry if i'm being really thick here (Its nothing unusual I promise you), how do you use the automatic pot feature and does it only drink pots when the character needs them?

can anyone give me some tips how I should set it (IE. how many seconds between etc).

There is a feature in the interface right?

/Malbec

Edit: Im a lvl 28 warrior.

Go to settings and set the Hp or Mp below which you'd like it to auto pot. I have it set at about 1/3 of my Hp and Mp because I heal and normally just manually pot it feels more natural :) I only really use it for afk.

I think I'm correct in thinking it'll use the highest value Pot you are holding

Thanks Harry, So its not really suitable to let it do it for you whilst lvling? I know warriors have very few buttons to press but still...Im lazy :RpS_flapper:

Yes the auto pot feature makes it so you never need to manually use an mp pot again.

The he only problem is your horse. If your horse has 200 hp and you have set it to auto pot at 220 hp. While on your horse it will eat hp every time it checks.

4seconds is the ideal amount of time.

you can use it for levelling but I just always feel more comfortable manually potting. If you do want to rely on autopot make sure it's not set too high so you don't waste part of the pot when it takes you to full.

Tbh as a warrior i dont use auto pot for hp but i use it for mp and i have it set to 1/3 of my mp, also it doesn't use the highest value pot you have it uses whichever pot is closest to your bottom right bag space.

Hey Matt,

If your HP is 400
Your know large pots give 110
You dont particularly want to be caught on low health by a pker so id suggest..

HP - Drink at [280] - every 4 seconds. (when you start hunting in areas where your getting XL pots make that adjustment to the hp "drink at" level otherwise you will be wasting the difference between large and xl.

MP is a different story- with such a small pool of mp unless you only have med pots your going to end up wasting the difference unless you time your drinking to be during battle rather than right at the end (so that you can consume while its refilling to get more of the max).

As warned. your HP will quickly outgrow your mounts as you level. so if you have your "drink pot at" 280 hp.. but your horse only has 270 max hp. while riding it will drink a pot every 4 secons trying to reach 280hp even though it never will.

I have gone afk on a horse outside a cave waiting for people and arrived back to an empty bag lol.

Do you just turn it off when you mount up then? can it be hot-keyed?

Thanks for the explanation matey, probably see you ig tonight :)

Tbh the horses hp isn't a problem unless like me you buy a game gold horse at level 38 lol. I'm 41 now and my horse is 35 max so his hp is poor lol something like 340. I do like to have my hp auto pot about 1.5 pots away from full. So as a warrior that's just over 500 so I need to either turn it off or set it under my horses hp.

If you are only levelling you don't need your pots set so high. Bossing is a a tough one but nothing stops you using a pot manually.

Really useful info here thanks guys, bottom line set autopot below mounts max hp to prevent losing pots!

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question :)

Not sure if mentioned in this thread, but the pots are taken from bottom right to top left of your bag. So put the pots you want to be auto-expended first in the lower right half of your bag. This can be important if your character decides to drink a small HP pot instead of a Large HP pot in a tight situation :P
