BabyHack fixing mistakes

Manbearpig lagged during your update in which you gave everybody a server warning, he died and dropped his blades in ants and mooncloud picked them up.
Manbearpig PMED Babyhack he had lost his item (Royal Blades) due to this database update and Babyhack in return @Made another set of Royal Blades and gave them to Manbearpig.

SO I ask the community if they believe babyhack has done the right thing by making a NEW pair of Royal Blades due to lag or is this a mistake on his part for making double the items as when somebody else "lags" if they do not get their items @made then he's being unfair and bias.

there was no point on warning us about the lag that was coming because the lag instantly came after he said it.. which caused me to die he checked the logs and said it was his fault and said in future he will give a few minutes notice so it hopefully wont happen again

So no warning, my bad on that then but making items like this is an extremely bad way to go about this as when/if this happens again there are going to be more problema arise.

Did the blades moonwhatever pick up get deleted?

If they did then there is no issue.

If they didn't then sorry BH (although he is doing amazingly great things) but that's wrong.

Baby hack @making items

The other thread is closed so i decided to make a new one to express my opinion(this is a fourm after all)

it doesn't matter if you made the server lag and he lost his blades your a GM you shouldn't get yourself involved in the game other than looking for cheaters or observing...people work there asses off for 40 blades...mooncloud should get to keep them(he has) without you having to @make a item to keep manbearpig happy, if you think you done the right thing fine, but you should do it for anyone that drops anything because of server lags (which will happen every time u change drop files or anything else in game) and this will just make it feel less official and courrupt.

There is now 1 extra 40 blades ingame without having to kill a boss, lucky manbearpig told people or else nobody would of known since you for one have kept it quiet for all we know you have done it before and will do it again

In all fairness, BH did the right thing as there was no notice given (it was announced then lag hit)
MBP should have never lost the blades, as if there was a notice of a few mins, he could've tted.
The fact the other person got to keep them is a bit weird as he has no right to them really.

Shouldve gave the other guy a chance to return them, or just get them deleted.

But overall its for the better as hes making up for his mistakes at least.

Goodwork to all the team btw, got a new enjoyment for the server since new drops

Same way that if a Gm wasnt on peace mode and accidently swung and hit you with their 10mill DC and you dropped.
id expect you to get it back.

I guess I can see from both points of view.

He's refunded him for a mistake he made. But the other Blades should have been deleted from the other users.

Now here's a problem... If people die due to server lag and drop items, will they also get refunded? If not, it will cause more problems than it's worth now.

Why will it?
server lag is different from a database reload that can and is planned.
So long as any further database reloads are announced then this doesnt happen again.
if you still die after the announcment yourown fault.
