I said I will respond to this thread when I get the time, There was and is no need to make new threads about it
This issue happened over 2 weeks ago when I first started working on the server and the drops and it was one of the first drop dumps I added to the server.
I did a GM shout to inform the server that there maybe a lag spike, I then reloaded the monster items, this caused a 4+ second lag spike. (I have since changed the way in which I edit the drops and have had no other issues when reloading)
5 minutes after this, Manbearpig was pming me about his lost blades, at first I thought here we go was waiting on one of these so I brushed him off. He continued to PM me so I decided to look into it and see if the lag spike had lost him his blades.
After looking at the logs it was clear that he died where he said he did and that his blades where gone.
I felt a little guilty about the whole thing so I returned his blades with a warning that if it turned out he was lying to me his account would be banned.
I later find out that his blades where picked up by mooncloud, not anyone fault that they where picked up, so in turn there are now 2 sets of blades in the game.
I felt at the time that I was doing the right thing, it now turns out that was not the case.
A mistake was made and the lessons where learned (trust nobody)

I fully understand now why members of the team lost heart and left, some members (not all) of the server really know how to destroy the spirit of someone who is doing everything they think best to make a server for everyone to enjoy.
The last couple of weeks have been a mix of fun and down right abuse from some members, abuse that is uncalled for and unwarranted.
We all make mistakes, it is what we learn from these mistakes that make a person what they are.
I have been open, honest and truthful with all of you from the start, I have never lost the head and have never given any abuse back to anyone.
Whats done is done, anyone who wants to talk about this is free to PM me, there is no need to make another thread about it.
