Bad Lagg

finally got the new client i downloaded working with my server its perfect im getting bad lagg however anyone got any ideas whats likely to be the cause for time being ive almost cleared my mongen.txt leaving a few left not tested it now tho but what can i do to reduce lagg


actually seems like i connect and get in game then i disconnect for some reason. Anyone know a solution to this?

Are you hosting on your home computer? It sounds like a loopback issue...
If not does the server meet the minimum specs?

yes servers got

windows xp pro
500gb sata hadrive
2gb memory
and its a dual core 2.4Ghz
net connections 10meg broadband


and if its loopback how do i solve it

and servers not on my home network its on a completely different net connection

Well specs seem fine, and if the server isnt on your network it cant be loopback.....
Does the server run alright? Is it slow and sticky?
If not its more likely your computer

i got another pc that also plays mir servers all the time to try it and the same happens on that also seems like as soon as we get in game it just disconnects us. originally i thought it was just really bad lagg then i noticed that we just disconnect

server seems to be running smooth and still has 1.3Gig memory spare and over 4gig virtual memory spare
