Bandwith allocation?

Hi my family are all useing my internet at the moment but its starting to annoy me they are taking all the bandwidth which means i can barly play anything without it lagging, Have a BT Home Hub 8mb connection, just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to cap bandwidth on different devies connected to the network, without running a pc as the network host 24/7 im pretty sure this hub has no QOS settings either, any help appriciated.

tried to find this out for so long now... best thing i can suggest is make your pc wired, and let everyone else use wireless that way you get bandwidth priority

The best way to do this, is through a server with DHCP connected to the router or get a router with a bandwidth restrictor on it.

Ssoul2004, won't work for limiting internet access and bandwidth control. As this needs to be from the ISP end, so from the router and not your pc.
