Whats everyones thoughts and opinions on the changes to Banyo?

For those who don't know the "new" area gives us access to monsters with between 25,000 and 36,000 HP and each gives 1.1m exp or more.

When you provide feedback on Banyo, keep in mind that the mobs are still worth EXACTLY the same Exp for the HP. They also have more regeneration now.

Health and Regeneration was increased by 10x, and their Experience followed suit.

It was easy now to level up, and a little unfair to those who worked hard in other areas, I saw many people stop playing, I also saw people gaining 20% XP At level 54 in only a few hours of play

Would removing Freedom Pass access solve the problem? For me I think it would, then it’s risk for reward, if you can get a low level all the way to Banyo through the cave then by all means reap the reward... at the moment it cheaps it a little by giving direct access, people who have put the hours in so far shouldn’t feel that 1 new change means someone starting today could catch them tomorrow.

The group buff could maybe require some alterations but for the first time grouping finally feels viable to level, not so much of a problem for me as I do most of my levelling solo but for guildies who only get chance to be online 2-3 hours it gives them a chance to gain some ground, it’s still faster solo from what I can see...

The problem is no the cave but the catch-up mechanic, this is supposed to be a low rates (imo it's more of a medium rated server considering how fast people are leveling) but suddenly people are hitting 40 withing hours and it feels cheap, we all did the grinding but they just made a character and booom lvl 40.

I'm up for slight catch up mechanics for latecomers to catch up to the top ranked players but not like this.

No don't change the group exp it's finally viable and not stupidly over powered.

I don't think the way it is now is an issue.

The only people who are reaping the reward are the ones who are going as big groups to level and fair play to them i am sure there having banter and a laugh whilst levelling and enjoying the game.
If the ones who are butt hurt are the solo power level who spend hours in game then so be it. They can always do the same and group up,

Fair play to THC who i saw last night grouping up taking lower levels and all getting the benefits of it. The way it is now makes it better for people joining the game and others who don't have as much time it makes it a much more Accessible game to people joining.

Ive noticed that 6+ people have chose the make it a 50+ area and i would hazard a guess they are the Power levellers who don't really give much of a **** about the lower levels in there guild etc because they did it all the hard way with hours of solo grinding " how dare anyone else have it easier who cant put that time in"

Freedom passes are a good thing they are a money/time sink to get one.

Why change something that makes people want to group up outside of Bosses for some nice EXP I imagine most of the THC guys were on coms having some banter a laugh which surely is much more benefit to keeping longevity in a game than it all being about the solo/duo groups of top tier players.

If the top ranked players joined in or made groups then they would still be out levelling the lower levels doing the same map and mobs.
its more if these TOP ranked players want to stay solo/duo then of course the people that are grouping up to take these mobs down at a fast and efficient pace are going to catch up.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. The 'lower levels' are low level for a reason and once they realise that the exp they get isn't all that, they will go back to sitting in sz doing sweet FA. Just let the novelty wear off a little.

For me I think the xp , mobs, damage etc are fair but there does need to be a level requirement in my opinion. The reason i say this is because you could essentially get boosted from 0-40 (or very close) fairly quickly here and as Mythra has said above, it takes away the feeling that you have put work into a character to get it to level 40+.

Poison = 0 Regeneration
Damage is not 10x to join the 10x HP and EXP
Casual Players will get screwed over as only high guilds can take low levels and alts there. Most of the population will get separated by this.
It needs a level cap and a damage increase.

Tried it last night (Its not as stupid EXP as everyone makes out)

Just needs a few tweaks and the cap etc above.

I voted to remove FreedomPass just so people have to work their way there... i know you can RT f1 and just run the other F's ... but i think RT's from F1 should be removed and maybe increase spawns in all 3 F's so people have to work their way there ... just my opinion. And i agree with What Azzi said... Casual players will get screwed over as only high guilds can take low levels and alts there and other people will just fall behind ...

So, by being a casual player and grinding my way through the levels to get to 45 by living in BP/ZT and I potentially will b taken over by someone who has played for a couple of hours and boosted by a group? lol :/

Not on a "low rate" server.
Few days possibly yeah, but not a few hours as others have mentioned.

I've never been to Banyo or even know what these freedom passes are, lol. So I'm just going by what people are saying... Possibly they are being a bit OTT.

In essence yeah, Freedom passes give any level a free pass to banyo cave, which they can then be leveled by a high level group of warrior, which all the big guilds will be doing.

I mean the passes are a cool idea, but the cap is really needed

People also have to remember that the noob tao being boosted that was such an issue in game, is an 'alt character', benefiting from 50% additional experience.

As I stated in game, the leveling is not all that quick and as a high level wiz I can easily take someone to Western Desert and get them 40+ in several hours.

Level cap is needed, or alot of people will just leave after spending hours on end leveling whilst someone catches up to players whos been playing since server start. (In a few hours... ) If no cap is introduced, banyo will be the new leveling area for levels 1-80, we can then call it ... Banyo Online 3
