You might find some idiot that will give you insurance for the clio but the cost will probably be more than the cars worth.

Count the saxo out, chavs have boosted the insurance on them.

106 are ok, cheap on the insurance as are corsa's (old ones). Havent driven or been in a fiat of any kind so i cant comment.

I would go for 106 or corsa.

i was thinking them 2 anyway lol, corsa seems to be too common but o wel, i want sumit doing to mine :P body kit. a nice one. so i dno its a toss between them two tbh.

I wouldnt modify your first car, you will spend extra money on it when you will probably be ditching it in a couple of years for something a bit better.

But still if you intent to mod it, i would go for the corse, havent really seen that many modded 106's (main focus being on the 306's).

Anyway, I got a 1l fiesta as my first car, didn't mod it, just put in a decent sound system. I've had a few 'knocks and scrapes' shall we say, but the cars not worth enough to have to worry about that. The thing has always started first time, nice and cheap (to insure aswell), money well spent.

next for me is a 306, after I've cained this bad boy above ^

I have a 1l Fiesta aswell, first car, what a pile of crap ^^ but as you say brilliant for a first car because you dont get worked up over the bumps and scratches which are inevitable. Is yours the 5 gear (excluding reverse) or the amazing 4 gear fiesta that sounds like its needs 5?

I dont see the point if i mhonest. 1st car should be a cheap one £400-700, to learn in, teach your self how to drive properly (AFter passing). No poin wasting xxx hundred pounds modding a cheap car now is there?

My 1st was a Clio 1.2. Was a quick mover for a 1.2, looked nice, drove nice. All i ddi with mine was added a sound system.... which i have now transferred into my ZR.

ur exactly the same as my older bro, he had a clio 1.4 for first car, looked nice, he lowerd, new rims, sound system, got rid of it and now got a green sexy lukin mg zr, that he lowerd and had sound systm put in, ill get a pic if i can.

Get a 1.2 or 1.4 clio. My first was my 1.4 clio and it was ****ing awesome, seriously. I drove from where I live to liverpool (400 miles), and then form Belfast -> Londonderry (76 miles) on a tank of petrol.

Insurance was £700 for the first year, full comprehensive. With one years no claims (if I hadn't sold it) it would be down to £380

lol, the main 3 i like are 106, corsa, and clio . So im doin good on that bit lol
