I play taoist, it gets an easy start because of skelly but a good start here is down to luck since there is an npc's that rents pets which can get you a really good pet wich is useful (if u dont die) until late lvl 40.
Pve seems pretty balanced looking at lvl rankings. Wizz have the usual lead with crappy HP pool, expect to die often. Taoist follow close behind; to me feels like a slower assasin that doesnt need to repair/repot since pets do most of the work but at slower pace and zero aoe, also pets receive lots of damage from subs so dont expect much sub solo hunt. Wars/sins the usual, there is some crys about the durability and repair costs but they seem to be the fun class for pvp.

Pvp wise I heard a couple crys that warriors with good DC can down any other class with a couple lucky hits.

Haven’t played all the classes extensively but melee classes have it a lot harder as they need to constantly repair and repot (my war has to spam health pots almost constantly @48). You will make a lot more cash early game with Tao and wiz as you can stay in caves forever with minimal repairs. Tao is an obvious early game power house with their lvl 1 pet + a rented pet. Once leveled these destroy everything until WT subs easily (this is where my Tao is at so don’t have experience beyond). Once wiz gets firewall they start to take off from the other classes and become the mid range power house and I assume keep this as they get OB since it was OP in the beta. Sin becomes a great single target killer and war turns into a decent all rounder as CHM comes into play with other skills (HM is a suck ass aoe...).

Just my two cents but all pretty standard mir breakouts per class except for Tao taking the early game win with the new pet. Tao is my favorite so far but the sub hitting pets hard + needing to level pets again + lack of aoe my cause me to switch main back to war, lol! Wish green poison scaled damage better, they had aoe poison skills and could have three pets total (two summons and one rental) as this would improve mid game for them not getting left behind and assuming poison cloud is a good late game skill like usual.

All pretty balanced
warr is best if you are gonna geek and get fed itemsa
wiz are just grind machines but even with good mc you will struggle to kill a decent high level war due to suns and hp pool
tao doesn’t need much kit to be strong in pvp or pve obviously faster levelling at start that slopes off late game
sin best if you like to solo they can just grind forever and have some nice mechanics in pvp

Having played as an Archer on last couple of servers, warriors are awfully boring and costly here until 62+, i hope... when you finally get another skill after half moon and blood cleaver. im 54 and havent got blood cleaver.

On the whole, on average it does look well balanced.
Wiz mass kill quicker with firebang/fwall... so will speed off levelling wise.
Sins kill quick but very squishy.
Taos good early on, less effective solo as they get higher as mobs get harder and pets less effective. No real damaging spell but tbh thats how it should be as they are a support class - definitely feel they are worth their weight here though, everyone wants a good tao with em.
Warrior, good HP pool, can take a battering compared to others. Bit boring, should be half decent end game.

I dont think there is anyone class which can kill lots of subs solo (til higher level) something valk i think wanted to encourage group play.
