CS:S has completely revived CS completely and it's what im playing most fps wise. The CoD expansion isn't doing too much for me like the medal of honor pacific game. UT2004 has some good modes and painkiller is pretty sweet. And ofcourse no one can forget probably the best single player game of the year, FarCry, although i think the multi sucks lol.

Each to there own i suppose people just have different tastes.
im thinking of reinstalling the original Ut loved that game just wondering if many woudl still play.

I have the original UT installed still, I would play that.

but CS is still the best FPS today even though some people don't like to admit it. CS was indeed made long befor Tactical Ops
