Big Virus Problem

My pc was fine this morning, my parents came round to do what they do, so i plugged a second hdd in to show my dad it was dead, bios didnt pick it up...loaded windows and hdd was there...wierd uh?

so anyways i unplugged it, they went home, i switch my pc on later and was plying poxnora....then suddenly the screen flickered game stopped responding and ie started opping up with "you have virus install this file to clean it" i declined and closed the page...i then knew i had at least one worm...well 12 hours later i detected 30+ worms and trojans i have managed to remove about 8.

the problem is a virus is stopping all protection working on my antivirus, and it has also deleted core components and its liscence..it does this everytime i install it.

i have two questions.....

1) would a system restore removed them
2) does anyone know of a online scan that detects and removes

i tied kasperskys scanner but it detects and doesnt remove them, i tried trendmicros scnner but it doesnt pick up all of them.

now internet explorer will not load any pages, so cant use certain online scanner...tried reinstalling windows but my keyboard doesnt work until windows in loaded.

sounds like the conficker virus

try something like...

using another computer... download a virus scanner that will work off a CD. (maybe clamwin portable http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/clamwin_portable )

then do the scan from a CD... virus can't delete files on CD.

get other tools on the CD as well in case you need it... check microsoft

dont have a spare pc, cant boot cds from dos coz of keyboard...i managed to get a cracked copy of avg working so hopefully it will get rid of them...it updated succesfully..something kaspersky wouldnt do.
