having kids under the age of like 21 should be made illegal and have a forced abortion imo. may be abit harsh, but ive found like 80% of the time when ppl get pregnant young they never amount to anything, obviously because they can no longer get an education and usually just live off benefits.

my x got pregnant, and although i loved her and wld have stuck with her i kno our lives wld have been ruined if she kept it.

ps. i know alot of ppl wont agree with me, but thats my opinion and view from knowing the people where i live.

some kids r now getting pregnant on purpose because they get given a council house and money every week and basically a comfortable life and as soon as that kid hits 5 years old their in school or playing outside with their mates.

Well as you will probably know im one of these people that do have children under the age of 21, and i don't agree with you in some aspects of what your saying.

I have seen young girls banged up with children, given a flat and put on benefits. Fair enough, most occasions i've walked into their home and it hasn't been the tidiest of places put it that way lol, and the mother can't look after her child properly in a health and safety perspective, although on an emotional level she could be the best mother in the world.

Although, and i can't stress this enough, i've met couples who have children that can't handle the responsibilities who are 30 years old for example; and from a personal experience im 19years old, and my children get everything they need and us as parents don't need to rely on anybody to support our children. You can see from the pictures in my siggy; my little man is healthyand well looked after. So what im saying is, not all teenagers are bad at parenting and some parents who are older and more mature, can be just as likely to not cope as well as a teenager.

Andy.

i think you fall in to that 20% then kadama. im not saying its the age that makes you mature enough to raise a kid. but that you should have a stable job before committing. and most people under 21 in my opinion would still be in eductation. if you can support the kid and yourselves then thats all you need. its when you reep off benefits because you're struggling that i think should stop.

Pal, in all honestly, it will be trouble for you, but the idea of a mum is too much to resist. I say do and and do it well.

You are right with alot of young mums. But every young mum gets tarnished with the same brush. My partner gets dirty looks off people when shes out and about with a 2 year old and a 8 week old baby. Most people don't seem to realise that there are young couples with children that can last and go the whole ten yards ( Me and my partner are getting married next year ). Anyone that has children just because it's the fastest way to get there own home and money in pockets without going out to work etc. then they deserve to be ridiculed.

People shouldn't judge just because a young woman is walking along the street with two young children. I'm at work Mon - Sat so i don't go out with my partner during the day. Same with anything though people judge before they know the situation or at first glances.

thats what i mean. if u have a husband/bf that can support them with a full time job and money then i have no problem. its when neither, or the woman is on her own that annoys me and makes me think that kids shldnt b allowed at such a young age.

My partner also gets funny looks when she is walking through the town centre with our 3 kids. A 4 year old, a 1 year old and a baby. I think a lot of the looks is due to the fact she looks young, which she ain't she's 25 years old.

But if you are seen as a young mum walking down the street with kids, then people automatically ashume the worse. When I fact myself and partner have been together fro nearly 5 years and I work for a living.

Sadly its comman round my area lol =/, but these are the types that dont have any intrest in working. But i know there are some great young mums around they just get tarnished with the same brush, usually by the older folks.

In answer to the main point, go for it.

all my ex-girlfriends from school have children around 2-3years old. i believe they do it because the council will pay them money and give them a home to live. but you can meet a sexeh lass but 1 out of 10 wont have a child around my area.

that makes you....19.... so say they had kids 3 years of age making them 16, so all the ex's from your school at age 15 where getting shagged and pregnant and at the age of 16 now all have kids ... thats nuts.
