been trying for ages to get server up and running works fine with offline ip but cant get it to work online have been throuh all the help threads i can find but it still dont work (((((

why doesnt it work are you ona router do u get connection closed? have u tired conecting with ur pc lan i.p

1. Aint this summit to do with running one of the gates twice, make sure they are shut down when closing server.

2. This is nuffin to worry about and wont effect server in anyway.

as for the hammer idea, lets just say i no the feeling lol :brows:

well your on a router right? try readin senture lans hosting guide. that will get you up and runing ur files r setup wrong i.p wise.

so i get my ip from http://http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/ and put this into every folder in the server files or is there places in should not go ?? and i have got a friend who will test it for me does he use the same ip number in the exe files ??

i dont think UnPnP matters with 1.9, try allowing single ports 7000,7100,7200
change all your IPs to ur LAN IP then change the few to Online one.

Online Changes Needed Below. BTW where it has 'tevo.no-ip.org' change that to your online IP.


Go into the DBServer and load up !serverinfo.txt it will look somthing like this

127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 7200

change the second ip address with the no ip address you just made (example
127.0.0.1 tevo.no-ip.org 7200 ) save and close that.

Now go into your Login Server and load up !addrtable.txt it should look somthing like this

Foundation Foundation 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1:7100

change the second and third ips with the no ip service you created (example
Foundation Foundation 127.0.0.1 tevo.no-ip.org tevo.no-ip.org:7100 ) save and close that.

Now go into your mir200 folder and load up !runaddr.txt it should look like this
127.0.0.1

change it to the no ip service you made (example
tevo.no-ip.org ) save and close that.

The error means exactly what it says.

Invalid address specified (incorrect IP in some files).

wish i knew what files were wrong, have followed all the guides (most anyway) and stil no luck is there a 100% set way to where these ip numbers can go, or some trial and error involved in it, as never seen two guides the same

It's just a scripting error, and doesn't effect the server really.

First off, what IP did you use to set the server up, and are you behind a router?

used lan ip and net ip where it says to in your guide will let me make account and charr but theres no chars in either window. Tried the gm char and no char. Using the off line ip works fine just no idea as to what i have done wrong and yep am behind a router have allowed ports .7000 7100 and 7200 in firewall settings.

works fine over lan just need get it online now
