black screen after char select

yes i did use the search button but nothing usefull came.
i try to connect to my friend server 1.4 and after selecting char i got black screen,any idea? i did use unpnp too,but it crash everytime and dunno why,tried to terminate svchost.exe but nothing changed.

help plz

Ur friend work just fine the character? he can entrance in the game(portal)? Coz here the problem with the gate at M2Server !!!!
Unpnp and Svhost.exe is not ur problems , dont use Unpnp. And Svhost.exe are very usefull in WinXP/Vista,and dont affect the Mir client. U cannot conect to server DB : in C:\mirserver\MUD2\Logsrv\IdDB at ur friend. So .... at ur friend work fine the character in the game?:bounce:
