black screen and music playing after char screen

this is what im gettin =/ on my own server,, tryin to set 1 up. does ne 1 know how to fix this? i got all 7 gates open and a friend could connect to login server so that was ok , ne suggestions ?=/

Make sre all IP's are right and server name is, make sure your not running a firewall, and erm. search :P g/l getting it to work

Make sure you can connect to other servers using their ip, and if you can then make sure that all of your ip's are 100% correct in your ini files. Failing that find a 'pre set up' copy of the server files and use that, and it should work.

that sounds like what happens to me, try to keep clicking in the same space as where it says "Start" or something, and just keep clicking it, it should flash alot and if you continue doing this then it will eventually go black and the music will stop then the OK bar will come up, hope this helps

That is if im thinking on the same lines as you, other wise it will just flash alot and look very amusing
