Black Screen - Day 2

I've not been able to play this game since launch and I've spent 24 hours trying to resolve it. So I'm posting in desperation to get some help.

Every time I load the game, the patcher works perfectly. But when I've tried pressing 'PLAY' a black window pops up and nothing happens no matter how long I wait.

I have a laptop, 6gb of RAM and I'm on Windows 10.

I've installed DirectX.

I tried to install .NET, but it keeps flagging an error telling me I already have a newer version installed.

I have tried changing both my own screen resolution and the MirConfig resolution to anything and everything. I've also tried Full Screen True and False.

But still the black screen. Is there anything else you can suggest that I could be trying? I'd really appreciate any advice.

I just managed to successfully install .NET 2.5 and 3.5. I then tried to do 4.5 as per the instructions and it tells me that 4.5 is already installed.

hi, I have also tried everything that I could read on this post and all the others but still black screen.

I've also tried running in administrator mode (I remember a previous Mir server you had to do that). But still not working.

I'm in! Downloading the DirectX Development version resolved it. Thanks for everyone's help.

not me im still trying to fix the damn black screen . i cant install any of the above .net 3.5 /4.5 tells me i already have an updated version sdk goes straight into error when I start install don't know what else to do.

I doubt that's the problem

I told you to use Visual Studio installer to add any framework versions that you need, although I doubt that's the problem

any other ideas ?

why cant you install SDK?
