Black screen, on log in.

Hi ive just recently downloaded the client, fully updated. As soon as i launch client the log in screen is black, bgm, is playing, ive left it for 5 mins and still black any help please.

System:
Win XP Pro
Service pack 3

Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz,
3.39GHz, 3.25GB of RAM
Mvidia GeForce GT520
1024MB DDR3

Appreciate any support.

These server files are totally different to any other, they really don't like XP lol

Played fine on a notebook i have... N that's on XP, so how does that work....

Is there anything in your !Debug.txt? This is located in the base folder of your client.

I have to alt -tab out and then maximise mir again on every login to get it to work...at every stage...because i'm using a notebook with 1gb ram i guess haha I dunno but it works.

i have tried to alt+enter that didn't work, and in debug there was nothing apart from it telling me that ive changed to window and full screen :s

alt-tab not alt enter. just minimise the game and click it again. i dunno why it works for me but if i dont nothing works, but works instantly on alt tab. weird but true. wayegonnado

XP does not support DX10, please ensure Direct 9.0c is installed.

As already stated DX10 or above is not supported on Windows XP. This is not the Ace team limiting this, blame Microsoft. If you want to use DX10 or above its best to use Windows 7.

Have you installed DirectX via the link I gave above? Are you still getting a black screen?
