Black Screen problem

One of our players is having a strange black screen problem...

hmmz ill try describ it i can still play but my character is completely blackened out. - other npcs black out if i hover over them.

also Lights used at top of lampposts and things dont glow they are blacked out- as well as when monsters like scarescrows die its a big black square as they die..

and when items glow on the floor- once again its a black square that will appear..

they have redownloaded the data folder twice now and the same thing happens. using TD's coding does anyone here know why this might happen? they have been able to play before just not now

get them to completely re-install euro mir 2.3, fully patch it, then add your patch and exe

also a check of gfx driver versions and direct x would also be a good idea.

our autopatcher would replace all the wil files anyway because they are all customised

however all players are getting it from the same place so that would indicate a computer issue rather than a files issue surely?

if its only one who is having the problem then yes i agree its a pc issue, i suggested re-installing and patching completely from scratch as a just to make sure precaution to be honest

get the person to complete a full windows update, to see if there are any hardware updates available, sounds to me like a hardware issue ie graphics,i had a dodgy gfx card driver once well many moons ago a card made by hercules lol the wrong gfx driver on that made my mir 1.4 go multi coloured i updated the drivers and it was fine

the graphics drivers are prob the cause of the problem get them to go the gfx manufactures site and get a driver update
