I resolved this issue by downloading batleping download battleping then patch i aint got time to explain just run battleping connect and then patch try it

Edit noticed server down. its cause your isp is blocking the patch, battleping changes ur isp

please make sure you have .Net frameworks 4.6 installed !!

just tested this on a players computer and it fixed the error and he is now patching and getting ingame

None of these worked for me, no offence but i would reccomend putting a readme in the files because new people won't be bothering to sit for over an hour trying to get the game to start, they will just go else where, such a shame Mir is such a ball ache to get going on newer versions of windows.

what version windows u got? I’m on windows 10 and have had no issues downloading and installing. Also what specs are your PC/laptop?

also a little tip (may not be your issue) download the client and patcher in google chrome browser not Microsoft edge.

Also worth mentioning that this can be caused if the game is trying to use a resolution that is not supported by the computer - worth trying window mode on one lowest resolution available to see if that gets you anywhere. (I believe this can be changed in the launcher at the top right?)

Repairing .NET from Programs & Features may help if there are any corruptions/errors with the installation.

Also worth checking for any entries in the Errors.txt file.

It would be nice to round up all the dependencies and potential issues in one big list, perhaps someone can put together a dependency installer/resolver. :loyal:

I'm unsure why several versions of .NET are listed when their client is built using .Net 4.6.1 and versions prior to this may not work.

As you have discovered- generally the latest version is backwards compatible to a point.

tbh could of been the res as there was a little black box window first then when it tried to load it was just full black screen and didn't load, ill try again at the weekend, thanks for replies

Resolution is set too high, change it 1 setting lower in the launcher.
