i know everyone here has seen a hundred issues the same as this but i just couldnt seem to find a solution, ive tried a few different clients with the same results.

Im using the 3.55Working server files cracked and setup correctly. i got a mapinfo issue sorted, and everything seems to be running server wise, however when i run a client "i have changed the ip adress in the .ini file before anyone asks :D" i just get a black screen no audio no picture and no sign that its actually running. Anyone have any idea where im going wrong here its probably something very simple, the only issue ive noticed in the server display screens that ive noticed is this message but i dont think this is the cause of my problems atleast not yet

any help with this would be really appreciated

Secondary question, with the 3.55 server files could someone please tell me which client files im supposed to be using? some people have said download the old Euro Client, Ive been recommended using the *cough* zentaur client ;) but expert advice might be alot easier as this seems to be the issue im having with the black screen

You can try Sting would be my suggestion. IT's been the most reliable for me.

What O/S are you using? I had the same problem on Windows 7 VM. Double check your setup again, try setting all IP's to (local) and see if you can log in that way.

all ips are 127.0.0.1 i actually found enough bits around the house to make a Windows xp machine, P4 3.2GHZ, 2GB DDR, 80GB HDD, not the fastest setup on the planet but it met all the requirements ie single core cpu win xp, ill take a peek at the sting client an let ya know, thanks for the reply
