First of all, I'd like to have my deepest sympathy with all The Londoners who got terrible news of what happened to their love ones. I hope this is just the end of it. About the timing, I think the terrorists chose the day for it to happen, no doubt about it. For example, 4 years ago what happened in the US, the date was 9/11, if you lived in the US, you would know that is the emergency number, when you call that #, all 3 services (Police,Paramedic, and FireFighters) will response in less than 10 mins. As of what happened today (7/7), my guess is that they got the day chosen, the impact obviously are political (G8 Summit) and economic( look at the Stock Market today, and gas price (62 USD/barrel)...).

To be fair Urban, it does say "those who fight you." Muslims are generally decent people. Were dealing with terrorists here, terrorists will claim their acting in the name of just about anything in pitiful attempts to justofy what they are doing.
Jesus the IRA were fighting over their religion, in the end it boils down to the fact they use their religion as an excuse.
However the "and slay them wherever you catch them" does worry me, as far as im aware the bible talks of fighting with knowledge and words. With people like Ghandi and Nelson Mandela fighting with peaceful protest, 2 people who have changed more than an an Army of Suicide bombers ever will.

Urban im not sure exactly what you mean by this. But obviously ppl are very very angry and upset. There is one heck of lot of feeling if we wasnt in *this war of terror* that it wouldnt have happened. Although Blair is saying things have to continue the way they are i think hes going to have one hell of a bad time in the papers if he doesnt change. But you know something you cant say cos someone is a muslim there religion is evil im sure some of the bible isnt nice either.
