These are far too weak.
Do 1-8 dmg on lvl 29 archer in lvl 22 armor and skelli helm then full dc.

I can't believe they are meant to me this pathetic.

They're fine. They're not supposed to do massive damage. They are annoying mobs that flinch you when you're trying to hit other mobs and lure you into other mobs if you chase after them. They don't need to hit like a truck on top of that.

archers are never a problem on their own. they have mega range here, and if multiple ones are hitting you, they flinch you so the other mobs kills you. you have bone spearmen etc in there.. you can get flinched so much you can barely move. I think caves ok, tbh.

Do you play a sin? It's not about the damage they do, it's fact that they make you flinch. Sins rely on quick attacks. If you have 5 or 6 of the little buggers hitting you, you cant kill other mobs as fast and take more damage from them as well. Ignoring them means you get slowed down and take more damage, chasing them means running into other lures.

So no, it's not free exp and they're fine as they are.

I'm a wiz and 3 of them have me potting hp and its not like I 3 hit them and what you want them to give? 300exp? Lol
