Emo:

Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

Goth:

Usually frail, pale white Pariahs, who wear all black and praise satan through hideous music and rituals. Teens tend to convert to a gothic lifestyle if they need an excuse for their oddness and constant physical beatings by their peers.

in my opinion yes they r like that n they r classed as freaks in my eyes yeh. but i cant rele say anythin since its ther life style, we tink we live "normaly" u cud put it wen to them its weird "freak" so its all to do wid ther culture rele this sort of cuts in on racialy motivated acts

Emo's are nothing like a goth. Oh and "ThaOne" I am not a wannabe emo, I am an emo, problem? If you believe an emo is like a goth, you seriously need to revise the two meanings.

On topic: I quite like the picutre breezer although the text at the bottom doesn't suit it. That guy/women could be anyone and shows no sign of being an emo.

EDIT: Just read the second page, and I agree 100% with Sawell - Lets just hope they finally understand the difference. Emo's can also like metal music but that is beside the point.

ThaOne, you're absolutely correct in the bit where you say that it is all to do with opinion. You say goths are freaks but goths may think townies/chavs are retards/fools/freaks. The point is that everyone has their own opinions and if you don't like a certain stereotype of person, stay clear from them. I personally hate chavs, not fussed on townies as some are tidy.
