Tele anyone in KR out of it when boss spawns, either to the first rt able floor or to the entrance or cave.
Avoiding pvp for bosses takes part of the fun away. Greeding happens but do you want greeders in your guild?

There's people in all the big guilds doing this and none want to be the one to "cry" .

If someone wants to wait hours for a boss, then they deserve it. It’s part of the game

part of the game?

It's avoiding fights It's greeding and it's boring unless you have 2 pcs or more and two or more characters and its boring for others who cant always get to KR intime to fight you for boss.

most servers I played stopped ppl camping the bosses by tele ppl out of the cave couple mins after the boss died and tele them out when it spawned.

Please list the servers you mention that tele people out of a KR. Have you actually played mir before? Stop being camping bosses?? Yeh ok. lol

I can think of maybe 1 server out of the 100's I've played that did this.

Spoiler: It wasn't fun.

End of the day Mir is usually all about working out the respawn timers of bosses and attempting to get them on lockdown, sometimes you can sneak in a boss without anyone noticing and that's a great feeling. When two guilds know the respawn time of a boss the ensuing fight over it is far more fun than if everyone were to be tele'd out.

I've been camping bosses because its the only way I can efficiently get upgrades but I am fed up of this waiting around......

random spawns between 3 and 9 hours is stupid imo. You don't even get a increased drop buff if your boss spawns after 9 hours and the same for the inverse, you don't get a debuff if it consistently spawns after 3 hours so some people get shafted, top guilds who fight for big bosses get rewarded further.

I'm stick of having to wait in the KR to guarantee its kill/drops. I could be leveling or doing other things in the meantime.

Someone just told me it's 2 - 6 hours which is better but still aids to wait around for 6 hours.

That sounds dire! I'm too impatient to wait for respawns tbh - think the longest I've waited is about 30 mins since starting mir 10 years ago, I'd rather get guaranteed %'s in that time lol

Interesting idea about a drop % buff applying, depending on how long it has been since spawn. Have it so all KR maps get a map buff at 2 hours from the boss death applying a 50% drop penalty. This updates every 2min 24 sec by 1%. Therefore 2hrs = 50%, 3hrs = 75%, 4hrs = 100%, 5hrs = 125%, 6hrs = 150%.

Could even let it continue after 6 hrs, so if someone decides to leave a boss up after it's spawn they can risk someone else coming to fight over it vs getting better drops. This would increase fighting over bosses, which would make the game more interesting!

I like the idea. Will it show as a buff like map buffs? Also a good indication to whether the boss is being killed. If it's at max drop buff or if infinite (never ending) you can tell it has been maturing.

May also be helpful way to identify if big map bosses are dead (bonelord).

Boss could level up over time to the increased drop version with name colour change to show level of boss and have slightly increased difficulty?

Do like the sound of this anyway. But to the topic of boss camping, I agree it's part of mir

Yeah I was exactly thinking the map buff system.

Bit harder really, if it kept scaling in the end no one would be able to kill it. Would be easy to add in a 10% dmg/hp map buff after an hour or w/e though with same system. Personally I think it would be cool if the entire dungeon got a damage increase if the boss wasn't killed, like the mobs are getting a morale boost. It would add incentive to lower levels to shout a boss is alive to get it killed so they can continue leveling easier.

Mobs used to level up and change colour depending on level think it had a max of 7 lvl ups which gave it a dark blue name

I like this idea for a dungeon in general, and will forward it.

It's different here., now.

This was when there are static timer and people who want the boss know when to go for a fight and boss
Here you cant get the boss spawns on lockdown. You can stay in kr and solo before anyone else can get to the KR. Avoiding fights. If you have a recall set it's even easier to avoid fights
People get tele away from KR in JP when seals break why not other caves.
