bosses here are as crap as mobs it would seem.

this aint a low rate is a no drop server.
if you dont give ppl a chance at drops they will get bored and leave.

I killed feel* 1million mobs to get a DragonRing (4days of powerleveling 14MillionXP to be correct) - and yesterday i got a DragonRing... *dont want to know how many mobs i need to kill to get a TitanRing at least)

If you done all of this in a week and half how many other people do you think done something similar? what would you like for your troubles? A jmace? Well thats now 10 jmaces in game, 1 for each group that done the same as you.
Now we have a 10week old server x10 maced per week... 100 maced ingame.
Now you come to forum..
Iv killed blah blah blah and only got a jmace WOW 100 ingame already i want DSS....
10 weeks later..
200 maced 100dss ingame.. I want sowg....
I could go on.
This mmo is designed for grinding. Very very little else. Not like the grind? Your in the wrong place.
That all depends on method of editing. It doesn't need to be an onourous task.
Create a spreadsheet with exports of all items in DB, create sheets/areas for mobs by location, then create a reference table of all the possible drop rates you want. Set up some joins to get all the data in the right places and then use VB to export it out to the right format of text file.
Changing rates would then be a case of changing the reference drop rates or joining to a different value and then re-exporting.
Everything is not all right. The server just ain't working like it is suppose to. If people are going to be this high a level atleast some gear should be dropping for them.
If all was ok it would be 50/50 with these threads but it never is. It's usually 2-4 people on every page that say things are ok. 15 posts per page.
Jmace is a level 35? Item. All the warriors ingame that are 40+ there should be atleast a 25-40% chance that they would have a weapon better than level 30.
Samuel isnt stupid he knows most people ingame feel this way. And is trying to fix it in a good way instead of the usual of taking it from one extreme and putting it at another.

With 200 "boss" kills (ignoring subs from his post) you'd expect more than a ruby ring? Perhaps 1 in 5 bosses would drop something on euro? also a low rate game. Violet ring? Titan ring? Power ring? These aren't exactly what people class as rares and should be basic kit for the levels people are?
No one wants 100 dss ingame, they should be rare, but what about maces, wsb, blkdss, zumamace? These should be more common. People running around with normal axes and fire blood swords is lame, these should be carried as pk weapons
You say we're here for the grind? Why is it piss easy to level to 44? It becomes a grind then.
Like 4 level 36 bows drop this week, OSR, Power Rings, Violet, Adamantine Necklace, StrongKbrace and loads of other crap has dropped this week. You're killing amid level boss so you'll get mid level junk.

Power rings and violets should drop from zt / mtk / BL / bdd bosses? Mid level junk, basic kit really?
I agree about the other items being a higher tier boss, dd, ok, yims, oks etc.
osr etc also used to have drop chances from normal pb mobs?

Seriously doubt that many bosses have been killed. Probably havent even killed 100 in total.
Just to put that in perspective, Mtk on a 3 hour spawn would mean you killed every single one, dead on 3 hours, every day for over 12 days.
I doubt you even did this, let alone found time to fit all the other bosses in.

Prob is alot of ppl look at the released deopfile and think of it terms of themselves only.
Say a nice item is 1/200000 to drop from a psc mob. And for arguments sake lets sayon will drop when 200000 have died (even tho we all know 10 could drop it a row if ur incredibly lucky). For one person this is a tall order to kill 200000 mobs and seems ridiculously hard to get. But when u think maybe 100ppl huntthere in a day and kill 1000 monsters each. That's one nice item every 2 days. Pretty decent drop rate if u ask me.
Just because YOU didn't get a drop doesn't keen items aren't dropping. Ppl aren't gunna shout about it when they get nice gear dropping, they will keep quiet and keep hunting that place.

Just purely unlucky then because I've not even done 50 BDD clearances (by clearance I assume you mean all bosses yes?) and gotten substantially more. Kbraces, pwr rings, drings, rare books etcetc.
I think you've had more than your letting on tbh, you just didnt get something uber like a 37 item and think omg wtf.
Or he just hasn't actually killed any... Can't say ive ever seen him at any of those places lol.

It's not because of the drop rates, your right, though the fact that they are stupidly low cant be helping.
This is the same issue with EVERY other Low rate Euro clone to ever hit LOMCN, i dont know why people thought chronicles would be an exception to this rule.
People just Dont want to play Euro again, as much as they make out they do.
Like i said before it launched, Chronicles will last 6-8 months max, before its UC is down 70-90% of what it was at launch.
Nologista draws them, realization makes them leave.

UC is still 400 at peak. Used to be 500.
That's still pretty impressive, considering the botters, cheaters and people just plain don't like the server have left.
Dunno why people think over 200 people have left, this isn't the case. When patch 2.0 comes in I'm willing to bet you'll see a bump in UC again for a short while, then back to "normal".
