Broadband 5MB ++

MHi. Does anyonek now of any good Internet Service Providers, which has 5MB Broadband + for less than £25.00 a Month, which enables you to keep your existing BT Phone line/number ...? I have searched but cannot find. I do not really want to change to their number so I can sue broadband, I would like to keep mine.

adsl internet depends on how close you are to your exchange, but it is not a shared medium like cable so you can theoretically get higher speeds. I've never had any problems with my cable connections in downloading/browsing stuff but then again I've never hosted a server through this connection.

yep so true. many places will only be able to do 2mb, when it says 24mb means maximum it will go. And thats like if your house is next to the "exchange" which is in town. You can actually see if u can get it, it's the same with that connection where you can have the same upload as down stream, 2mb up/2mb down. Although it differs again, forgot the name but its great i guess if you got . But the same occurs, depends how close you are to the exhange =/ i can only recieve 1mb up/down. ><

DSL rather than Asyncronous DSL.
