#+1 for this. Allthough I agree it is a bug, and an annoying one. If you fight in town, then you are asking for trouble.

Talking crap cause your butt hurt over going red isn't going to help.
This bug has been around a long long time, just because you've never seen it or had it done to you, doesn't make this untrue.
So yes, it does exist and continues to exist on ever Mir server that i've played, even on Euro. It's simply a cooldown timer, you don't become immune from the death cause until a certain time period.
Example, you would get the same effect attacking someone whose white...if someone else killed them in like 1-2 hits or so, you would still get the penalty despite not dealing the final blow.
Personally, this has never really bothered me....its just something Mir players have come to learn and live with

Doesnt just have to be in town, you could kill someone in a cave, and their mate is waiting in town to 1 shot them afterwards.
Pottsy it is specific to the applem2 source .... Its hasn't been around for ages at all and was definitely not in euro
Yes, it was. It has existed on every 1.4+ and 2.3 server I've ever played and has been abused in every 1.4 and 2.3 server I've ever played. A select few servers found a work-around to fix the issue. I believe on one of Ben's servers there was a "cooldown" introduced so that nobody would get the murder, which was then also abused.
I'm beginning to wonder if you ever played Euro or very many servers at all =/

So far 6 people (all of which have been on LOMCN longer than you) have told you it's been around since Mir began. Are we all wrong?
Telling you that you're mistaken, is not provoking an argument. But when you refuse to believe what multiple people are trying to tell you, it's hard to accept your seriousness or credibility on the matter.
BH has confirmed the bug is being fixed in a future update and you recognized this in a previous post. So what's the problem?

Also people in game have agreed that it didn't exist in euro .... I'm not sad enough to tally up scores at 5am
I know it had been replied to it was somebody else that brought it back up not me.

I didnt come across this bug on euro and i used to town fight a hell of a lot.
I do remember not getting murder for 1 hitting someone but have never seen anyone else get the kill credit or heard anyone complain about it.

It never existed in euro. You could even one shot white players without receiving any points at all or even going brown.

Tell a lie, on mr people you hit with poison would go and die in guild territory fight zone to give you the points but you had hit them to start with and once they respawned or you logged the chaib was broken.

A lot of people claimed it happened, a lot of people claimed it didn't happen. I guess we'll agree to disagree. It would seem some people remember things differently about Euro.
