Browsing Virus

I got a problem when i click links it sometimes directs me to other sites, if i put a url into the browser thats ok but if i use google and try to enter a site that way thats when it will happens, i ran virus scan 3 times now but still having the problem.

I used Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Registry Cleaner.

The problem is with Firefox, i got google chrome aswell and i dont have any problems with that.

Anyone suggest some programs to use to fix it?.

Try uninstalling firefox, run a virus scan - I use Microsoft Security Essentials, get it and try that. Then reinstall firefox.

Done what you said but Security Essentials keeps saying Connection failed to update and cannot scan unless its fully updated..

Forgot about Avast, using this now and it updated ok, running a scan see if anything is found.

Btw...use Google Chrome, it's better than Firefox.

Hmm can't be ur net since your using it so must be the virus stopping it

All sorted now, after the virus scan i did a registry clean and retsrat computer now everything seems ok.
