BT Upgrade

Well after months of waiting my net goes down, 10mins later i get it back on and find my connection as gone up x4 than it was .

Jus fought id share it with the other BT users.

Mine only went up my double it's speed. Mind you, I do live in the mountains, miles from the nearest exchange.

Mine only doubled but I was well happy when I saw that little "Connected 1.1mbps" In the bottom right :P

Well i was on 576kb/s and during the day we got a letter saying it was getting upgraded to x4 and now its 2.2 . Might just depend on whr u live?

Yes it does. If you live near a BT exchange, you'll get a very good upgrade (Like you did), but the further away from the exchange you are, the less of a better upgrade you'll get. Which is why mine only doubled from 512 to 1.1mb. I'm like 5 miles from our nearest exchange.
