Bugs in bug section

Hearing more and more people discussing the next server.

It gets tiresome after a while. A perfect example is Sabuk Wall - This was a priority back in November, well it's now about 6 months too late and unfortunately I can't see people rushing back for this. The ship has well and truely sailed.

Sure and that's understandable. We've explained why in a few threads and given an outline of our plans going forward. We're still active, still here and not going anywhere

And for that, I salute you.

Just reading the comments on here pisses me off.

How dare the target audiance have an opinion, right or wrong, on things surrounding the server.


Sorry i forgot that criticising or saying anything against a server makes the admins cry. Instead of getting butt hurt, maybe taking some of the feedback on board would be a bright idea.

Standard "you dont do enough" threads shortly before a new server launch.

Some valid points of course, we would like to see things move a lot quicker but this is still the best server available for the forseable future.

I dont know of any other server that have put as much time and effort into cheat detection and bot prevention. Anyone that thinks a certain server type will be cheat free without this kind of dedication is being foolish.

Lets just remember that although some of the team on here made mistakes around corruption they were very small fairly insignificant issues. We know that none of this server team regularly socialise in person with a group of players.
I certainly would not trust the integrity of server secrets at the local pub.

For any that are not in the social circle of apocalypse, we will see you back on chronicles within 4months. Id bet my left nut on it.
The others will probably stay there because lets be honest they don't enjoy having their asses handed to them daily so need a lower populated server to "own" with access to drop file info and god knows what else.

Chronicles will not suffer.

I believe Chronicles has become complacent, updates are slow, new content is badly needed, we're lucky to even get an event these days. The way certain users are levelling (we all know who), it's plain to see money is coming in thick and fast for what can be viewed from the outside as minimal effort. I'm not saying there is minimal effort, I know there is plenty of background work we are probaly not aware of, but this isn't visible to the general user base therefore all we can judge the server team on is exciting new content, events and fixing bugs.

Competition will probaly be the best thing for both servers, we will see who truely wants to win over the userbase as I can't see them being able to split 50:50 on an already limited user count for the mir 2 population in general.

Raz these posts have been being made for months, its nothing to do with the fact that there are now several new servers on the horizon. It just means that people are even more likely to be tempted by other fruit if the current fruit their eating is going mouldy.

I agree about the cheat/bot detection on here - the team do do a good and i know this takes a lot of time. But it's not a get out of jail free card unfortunately.

Finally, let's not turn this into a team vs [insert guild name] will waving thread. If you feel there isnt enough of that sort of trash on the forum already go make a separate post in the guild section and let's keep this one from being derailed.

Sam youve completely and utterly missed the point of my post. To keep it simple - im referring to 2.0/path to hell, with all the new promised spells (advertised over a year ago). We've been told countless times most if not all of these are ready, so what are we waiting for? Get it done man. As i say theyre either not actually ready or youre unwilling to commit the time to get it across the line. Where's SW? This was once a priority, and now it's completely dropped off the radar. This is why players are quite literally ready to pounce on the next decent server that comes out.

I appreciate real life is important, and ultimately you hold the future of this server in your hands, but how you cannot see what's happening right in front of you is beyond me.

What's sticks in my head is the hundreds of new items that were promised a long long long long long time ago

It's easy to mistake "staff" for some highborn bunch of demi-gods, when it's just some lads that will do **** when they can be arsed to, or if that makes them a quick buck, just like every other 20-something years old.

Lets be honest, its the admins/mods (on all servers) that put themselves on that pedestal. Not the players.

They are, as you say, lads that will do **** when they can be arsed to.

Agree with much you have said,
I would argue that the anti cheat and bot work is a get out of jail free card for me, not that they are in jail so to speak.
But that is just a difference in opinion on whats most important.

For the record... this "social circle" you speak of know as much as everyone else knows... so stop crying about it And go get help with these emotional issues you quite clearly have :/

Chronicles is not going anywhere, there is content and new stuff being worked on for release soon (spells, caves, monsters etc etc)
