You may have to select your CD rom as the first thing to boot from in the BIOS.

thnx think that matter ragnar as wen windows load up it checks the A:/ drive first and then the D: drive also.

in bios look for the section were it will auto look for ur HDD an then try reload it up m8

The A drive is ALWAYS checked first for any kind of bootup discs, if it cannot find a bootup disc, then your computer boots up from the hard drive.

So ragnar is more than likly right, make sure your hdd is the secondary boot up device, after the a drive.

You mean you have a windows xp installation on floppy disks :p?

The A: drive is usually the floppy drive, and is not neccesarily checked. It's all about whether youve told it to be checked in the BIOS.

My bad ragnar. :P

You could find a cd key on google probably lol ^_^. You was better of to get a retail version of windows tbh, where no cd key is needed =/

EDIT: I am not sure if this is any help, but it contains a cd key generator aswell. I havnt tried it, because i dont need to. ^_^

CD key changer

Hmmm, yur xp must have a "built" in cd key, but you need to enter it yourself.

Ermm,if you can access & get onto your built computer, run the "Windows xp product key viewer" to see your cd key.
