All I've heard from Alienware is that they are overpriced. I would wait for Urbanfox to post something for you (after he has ranted about Alienware :P). You will probably get a better machine and save money off what you would have paid for that.

There's nothing wrong with Alienware. Unless you consider, overpriced flashy marketing cases and **** cooling something wrong.

But then again, you could buy the parts from komplett.co.uk....

BTW, with this setup, you have the FASTEST CPU AND VIDEOCARD for gaming, PERIOD.

You know, just a thought...

What about PC World, I thought I heard in one thread they would put your computer together for something like 50 pounds.
fk PC world man they take the piss, i took my PC in to get it fixed they said it would cost £100 and take a 5 weeks to repair as they have a 'que'....then my dad took it to his work so a friend there and he fixed free of charge in about an hour -_-. i cant get this guy to put pc together either as he left and went to another branch or w/e....so...a alrdy built pc is the only option i think...is the 1 i said a good deal and a good pc? cause might order it 2nite/2moro as no1 else has made ne otehr sujestions :P

The one you presented is a horrible price. I can't help you concerning pre-built.

The Matrix!!
I wouldnt use PC world for anything other than buying games and/or peripherals such as keyboards, mice etc.

When you go and ask a techy in there if they have a dual optical mouse and they turn round and say they dont exist, when quite clearly there is one plugged into your machine at home its gotta get a shade worrying as to who theyre actually letting loose on your machines!

Better building yourself, its a peice of cake once you get the hang of it....

Sites to order parts from:

www.aria.co.uk
www.overclockers.co.uk
www.komplett.co.uk (urbans usual :D)
www.scan.co.uk
www.dabs.com
