Byuing new router

Looking for a decent router for around £30-35.

Will be connectiong wired and wireless.

wondering would i be able to plug a ethernet wirless router or summat in a router already has 3x Cabals?
want the internet upstairs in my room as ive phoned Virgin Media and theyve said you can only have 1x Broadband per house or can any1 lead me to a internet provider 8MB+ which would

Virgin (ex NTL/TeleWest) only Allow normally One connection per Household but if you can get someone else to sign up for you (in the same house) then that is one way arond this. Another Alternative is to get an ADSL Line as well as - this means you will need a BT Phone line for a start (plus costs per month) and they will be on different IP's etc.

A Router takes one connection and share it out Via Wireless / Wired upto 254 Computers..

Having two seperate internet connections coming to your household is different to sharing one internet connection out to an x amount of people.

Does that router have a 10/100MB wan port? Im on a 20MB con with VM and the router atm (Linsys BEFSR81) only has a 10MB wan port -.- so wasting half my bandwidth =x

Also can you get a 8 port version?

Yes it has 100Mbit port - all of the Linksys Ones I have seen have this written on the box and a reason why I bought it myself. Never seen a 8 Port Router - your best of Buying a GIGABIT Switch and some cards - there cheap enough in combination with the Router itself.
