buy a lenovo they have the same video card SLI'd (you have 2 )
similiar processor and also 32gb ram

I actually did just buy that laptop. Sli is too bulky and gets too hot, plus not all games support it... I'm happy with this beast though :) .

What a waste of money!

Should have put more into upping the size of the tiny SSD rather than the non required 32gb ram!

lol , money is something I'm not short on... I was in the shop and just bought the most expensive one they had.... I know my bit about computers, i know I could have got a 780m or maybe even a sli by sacrificing the ram or ssd...

Agreed having more than 6-8gb ram on a single OS machine is pointless your soon going to fill that SSD but nice machine can't comment on the overheating :) alot of grunt in a small enclosure will get hot.

Why didn't you get the extra vidcard instead of the ram or the cooler.

Because he bought it from a shop, he didn't build it himself.

You can't walk into say, Currys and say "Yo, this laptop, can you take some RAM out and put a better video card in!" lol.

the thing is this laptop has a second conpartiment which allows you to or have a second video card or 16gb extra ram or an extra cooler.
which you can switch by just taking it out and putting the other in.
Reason why i like the laptop :)
i got the second videocard free with it it seems he got the ram

why not just build a desktop computer lol???

i really do not understand people who game on laptops when there at home 99% of the time.

most laptops are crap , even high spec ones all underclocked to keep them from melting.

As someone who spent silly money on a "Gaming laptop" before, can tell you it's simply not worth it. You are far better off investing the money into a desktop and building it yourself.

For the same price, you can double your specs and easily upgrade anything for future technology evolutions. If money is no object, get a desktop as well. You'll soon realise your portable gaming laptop is really just made for that, portable usage.

A PC is always going to be better for the money, but some people can't have a PC for many reasons.

A mate of mine is married but loves his gaming. His wife got arsey as he was always on the PC in a different room. So they agreed he could get a good gaming laptop, so he can sit in the same room, watch TV, talk and still play WoW.
