Can you run servers through a fwall?

i think its a possibilty, IF you allow access to the ports a server uses. But i only heard about this, not sure if it's true or not.

It's somewhere in the advanced, where it gives you a list of tickyboxes like HTTP, FTP etc - click add and put the internal and external ports the same etc.

That's what I can remember anyway, the other thing I remember is Windows' built-in firewall being a bag of sh!te.

The registered version of Norton is extremely good, I use it, the protection is brilliant.
