Cannot connect to SQL server?

Can't get that SQL program working, Being honest i have no idea how to use, been looking at guides and tryed every thing going from Enterprise manager > Local.. can't do nothing, screenie to follow.

Make sure your sa passwords are the same as what you put during the SQL setup wizard.

What i'm just starting, lol. Following http://www.lomcn.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=54617 that guide, and only on step 3 after 3 hours. Can't add datebase's into it or anything.

Oh right I see, well ehm. When you install MSSQL 2000 you should have just entered a password, the username is set to sa.

Tried, nothing. Just says server does not excist create anyway? Then unable to connect.

Go start>Programs>Microsoft SQL Server> And open Service Manager, make sure the service is Started

"The service did not start due to log in failure" Getting a tad annoyed -.-

Try reinstalling MSSQL2000 - When you get to this part put in a password, and write it down or remember it!

Got that password, tried reinstalling, not worked, tryed loads of log ins for the SQL server authentication. Still nothing -.-

iv rebooted the pc today and now getting this problem.. any 1 resolved this?
