Cant connect but my m8 can

I have set up a server online, my m8 can connect but when I goto connect to my own server VIA lan, I can get to the login bit, but I cant go any further. any ideas on how to solve this problem, thanks

I think u need too install microsoft loop back(or summit lol :S), search shud be summit on microsoft loop back.

**** loopback,, just reroute in msdos

have it when connecting to IP --> go to ur lan ip.

OR edit windows hostname file.

I doubt that an average LOMCN user will know how to do that.

Installing MS Loopback isn't a good solution, best would be to get a router with loopback.
